Postoperative Care &
Rehabilitation Guidance
SERVICES
Recovery doesn’t end in the operating room. Postoperative care and rehabilitation play a critical role in healing, restoring function, and preventing future complications after brain or spine surgery.
Every patient receives a tailored recovery plan designed to support safe healing and a gradual return to daily life. This includes:
- Monitoring for complications such as infection, bleeding, or swelling
- Pain management and wound care
- Follow-up imaging and neurological assessments
- Guidance on activity levels, rest, and mobility
- Coordinated referrals to physiotherapists or rehabilitation specialists where needed
For spinal procedures, physical therapy is introduced to help rebuild strength, improve posture, and protect the spine during recovery. In cranial cases, rehabilitation may include cognitive, speech, or occupational therapy—depending on the nature of the surgery.
The goal of
postoperative care
is to:
- Ensure safe healing and surgical success
- Minimize downtime and long-term impact
- Support your return to work, independence, and quality of life
Patients are encouraged to openly communicate about their pain levels so that care remains responsive and effective throughout the recovery process.
