What to Bring & How to Prepare
for Your Appointment
If you’re visiting for the first time, this guide will help you prepare and ensure your consultation runs smoothly. Our goal is to make your experience as comfortable, efficient, and informative as possible.
What to Bring:
- Referral letter (if you were referred by another doctor or specialist)
- ID or passport
- Medical aid card or insurance information
- Any recent imaging results ( X-rays CT scans or MRI)
- List of current medications (including dosages)
- Medical history summary, especially related to neurological or spinal conditions
- Questions or concerns you’d like to discuss
How to prepare
- Arrive 15–20 minutes early to allow time for check-in and paperwork
- Wear comfortable clothing
- Avoid wearing jewellery or metal accessories if you expect to undergo scans
- Eat and take medication as usual, unless told otherwise by your referring doctor
- Bring a trusted friend or family member, especially if complex decisions will be discussed
