What to expect
before, during, and after surgery.
At Endospinecare we believe that surgery is the last resort, ensuring that we seek out every alternative first
before heading to surgery
Understanding what to expect at every stage of your surgical journey can help reduce anxiety and ensure a smoother, more confident experience. Here’s how we support you before, during, and after your procedure:
Before Surgery:
Preparation & Planning
- Comprehensive consultation to discuss your condition, treatment options, and surgical plan if so necessary
- Diagnostic imaging (such as X-rays, CT scans and MRI) to confirm the exact area needing treatment
- Pre-operative assessments, including blood tests and medical clearance if needed
- Detailed explanation of the procedure, expected outcomes, and any risks involved
- Instructions on eating, medication use, and activity restrictions before surgery.
- Opportunity to ask questions and address any concerns
during Surgery:
Safety & Precision
- Procedures are performed in a fully equipped surgical facility with a skilled multidisciplinary team
- Minimally invasive techniques are used where appropriate to reduce recovery time and risk
- Surgery is carried out under carefully monitored anesthesia to ensure your comfort and safety
- The surgical team follows strict protocols for sterility, accuracy, and complication prevention
after
Surgery:
Recovery & Follow-Up
- You’ll be moved to a recovery area for close monitoring in the hours immediately after surgery
- Pain management and wound care will be tailored to your comfort and healing needs
- Once stable, most patients are discharged with clear instructions for home care
- Follow-up appointments are scheduled to monitor progress and address any issues
- Where necessary, rehabilitation or physical therapy may be recommended to support full recovery
- You’ll have access to support for any questions or concerns throughout your healing journey
